Bet neither is Noah proof. Actually I’ve recently replaced my old iPhone 4 bumper with the Otterbox Commuter. Just as well because I’ve dropped it a couple of times on tiles in the last week. That’s the thing though, because I always buy a good protective case for my phone, the drop test isn’t a huge deal breaker for me.
Out of curiosity is the front screen of the Samsung made of glass? Of course glass is likely to shatter when dropped, but it’s more scratch resistant than plastics. So there may well be a trade off.
This comment is just because I forgot to tick the ‘Notify me’ of followup comments. Oops.
They are both made out of glass, the same gorilla glass at that.
The SGS2 has fared pretty well to Noah sucking it, chewing it and dropping it. He hasn’t been let near D’s iPhone on the other hand
My mate Phil showed me a video of the inside of his daughter’s mouth on his iPhone 4S. Needless to say it wasn’t intentionally taken, but very funny. You can hear Phil panicing from the far side of the room, “Hey, is that my phone?”
It was him that got me on to the Otterbox cases, they’ve a big rubber plug in most of the holes (dock, headphone etc), making them reasonably suck-proof.
